The Whistler area provides unique year round fishing opportunities. In the Squamish area there are five major fishable rivers with three more to the north of Whistler. Many alpine lakes near Whistler are easily accessed by four wheel drive and also hold Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat and Dolly Varden.
